I’m 100% behind separation and immigration policies - just not as Dani the Denier sees it.
Separation - I vote YES to having Dani and the ucp separated from Alberta
Immigration again I am 100% behind deporting Dani, all ucp, app, tba, centurian project, republican party members in Alberta . Today would be OK to start the separation
Well said. I too was a Wildrose supporter back in day. I’m no longer a right-winger to be honest but I do remember in those days just how mad I was when she crossed the floor.
I said this on another post but I often describe Smith’s tenure as a Politician, not just Premier as a failure to launch: Throughout her entire life all she’s known is failure in one form or another so when she became Premier I imagine she saw it as a way to wipe that slate clean but really nothing has changed
The only problem is this time her failings have roped us into a mess where a minority of people have way more power than they should
Also, banning books for little reason. Plus the general corruption of the UCP. Asks our opinion is many asks the public efforts and then does the opposite. Eg Provincial Police, Provincial Pension Plan. Then in my opinion the sell out to Big Oil by reducing renewable energy investment in a province with the highest electricity rates, mainly due to Transmission and Distribution costs with sweet very profitable deals
Thing is Rachel Notley had started us well on the road to investment in renewable energy, among other things”starts.” Jason Kenney came in and cancelled everything. Investment packed up and left. Smith has only deepened that debacle.
Kenney cut subsidies to individuals and this article. That's when $30 billion went elsewhere. Apparently an Ontario company refocused on Africa and is doing very well as no grids

The Premier of Alberta has a problem with renewable energy.
In August of 2023, Premier Smith imposed a seven-month industry-wide moratorium on new approvals for wind, solar, geothermal, and other forms of renewable energy. The halt cost clean energy investors, renewable energy companies, and provincial and municipal governments more than $30 billion in delayed, deferred, or lost investments and taxes.
The Premier also directed the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) to investigate renewables and make recommendations on the future of wind, solar and geothermal energy projects, supposedly on which to base Alberta’s go-forward policies on renewable energy.
Glad for the added specific information. Thank you responding. I’m often not good on specifics. So appreciate that you are. All designed to appease O&G.

I can leave 50 years life built in this province, my tax dollars with me. my children, their tax dollars, and entrepreurship, as well, are preparing to leave alberta.
I happened to see that Danielle Smith wasn't good to begin with, and that's why I never voted for the Wildrose. Seeing how bad the UCP were from their creation, I didn't vote for them either. The damage the UCP and Danielle Smith have inflicted upon Alberta and Albertans may be difficult, or even impossible to reverse. This is what we have to endure.
Well the only one fire exit is also so Dani as they rush to allow six storey residential buildings with a single exit to increase the profits of their friends!
I saw just who she was right at the very beginning. I love Alberta but it’s been so stressful since Dani showed up, and it’s going to be an even worse summer.
Puerto Rico with snow -- great line!
Now that she's pulled the grenade pin, will chem-trail Smith finally be judged by Albertans for imposing Wexit on them?
Or will her serpentine smooth, sensible talk continue to hoodwink the majority?
Among her endless lies, her gaslighting that "700,000 Albertans want a referendum on separation" must not be allowed to stand.
What a fun summer for Alberta and Canada -- held hostage not only by Trump, but MAGA North.
Gloves off, everyone -- the game just got real.
Terrific expression of our feelings. Thanks

She is and always has been self-serving ONLY. She has no business being anywhere near the premier’s chair or power.

Thank you much for this contribution!! There’s so much, it’s easy to miss some.
she's done.
and basically, it's her/ucp, or me.
next election.

what's left in this province for us?
